April 13, 2010,the second Earth Observation Expert Group Meeting between China National Space Administration (CNSA) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) was held in Beijing, Mr. GUO Jianning, general secretary of CBERS attended the meeting.
The two sides discussed the issues on international cooperation, data exchange, satellite sensor calibration and data applications. Both sides agree to establishment 3 technical working groups to promote the cooperation including land surface imaging, ocean sciences and disaster reduction science. Mr. GUO Jianning was nominated as co-chair of land surface imaging working group.
