CRESDA has mastered core technologies on the construction and operation of Ground Systems, and accumulated abundant of experiences during such progress. First of all, the Ground System features several technical advantages mainly for providing clear and accurate imagery and integrating resources to process data. In addition, multi-satellite compability has necessitated the appearance of the new Ground System by upgrading the former system in data processing programs. Furthermore, extensive experience and innovative thinking enable CRESDA to construct the new kind of system (based on Window-Intel framework) which exceeds traditional performance characterized as highest maintenance, available upgrade, more flexible and highest capability to satisfy various needs as well as easy to enlarge. Therefore, these Ground Systems have paved the solid way for constructing the data processing system of land observation satellites.

According to the national instruction for the concentrative construction of national land observation satellites ground system and promoting the data sharing in China, CRESDA has designed the architecture and composition of land observation satellites ground processing system according to standardization and systematization, which will ensure the superiority, reliability and expandability of multi-satellite ground system. The system is composed of one public platform, seven subsystems and one set of criteria. The system is designed with an architecture of concentrative storage and distributed processing. All these efforts contribute to build up a center for processing data from multi-satellites.
