200 days of being "lead agency" in the International Disaster Reduction OrganizationPublishDate：2022-07-27

　　This year marks the 20th anniversary of the CHARTER (International Charter for Space and Major Disasters) International Organization. From April to November, it coincides with China's lead agency of the Charter. The rotating chairman working team composed of China Resources Satellite Application Center and other units affiliated to Aerospace Science and Technology Group is on standby 7×24 hours. Under the global haze of the COVID-19 epidemic, the normal operation of the Charter has suffered a lot. Coupled with the frequent occurrence of major disasters around the world this year, the rotation work faces huge challenges. The CHARTER team of China Resources Satellite Application Center actively explored new response mechanisms and ensured the smooth operation of the Charter with practical actions.
