Optical Calibration Data Processing SoftwarePublishDate:2022-10-31

  The variation of performance of satellite-borne sensor (such as sensitivity of channel) caused by alteration of working environment and conditions together with long-time running components and parts will influence application of remote sensing with different loads. The method of off-site calibration and synchronous observation is applied for on-orbit absolute radiometric calibration and improvement of satellite-borne calibration system. The correct calibration coefficient improved is of great importance for acquisition of correct radiance brightness value and product quantification.

  To obtain more accurate calibration coefficients, the land observation satellite optical calibration data processing software is developed by the Center to complete satellite on-orbit site calibration under payload, track variation of payload and performance, modify the relevant parameters required for data processing, provide the basis for parameter adjustment of satellite and offer on-orbit absolute calibration coefficient for users regularly and services for remote sensing data quantification. Apart from data acquisition during off-site calibration and simultaneous observation test, it is necessary to conduct accurate and rapid processing and analysis for calibration data so as to obtain the ideal calibration coefficient.
