　　CBERS-01/02 satellites are the transmission type resources remote sensing satellites jointly researched and developed by China and Brazil with their code of CBERS. The successful launch of CBERS-01 on October 14, 1999 completed the history of our nation relying on foreign resources satellite for a long time and symbolized that the application of our space remote sensing would go into a new stage. CBERS-02 was launched successfully on October 21, 2003. CBERS-01/02 is equipped with CCD scanner, wide field imager (WFI) and infrared multispectral scanner (IRMSS).
