　　The China-ASEAN Remote Sensing Satellite Data Sharing and Service Platform Project is the first project of the China-ASEAN Science and Technology Partnership Program, and was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The project was officially approved at the end of 2012, and the project acceptance was completed in September 2018.

　　The goal of the project is to establish a CBERS-04 satellite data (ASEAN) sharing service platform based on China's CBERS-04 satellite data resources, so that ASEAN countries can use China's low- and medium-resolution remote sensing satellite data to realize the sharing of CBERS-04 satellite data in the ASEAN region. The shared service platform includes three parts: Beijing data center, Singapore receiving station, and data sharing service.

　　Based on the existing national land observation satellite ground system of the China Resources Satellite Application Center, the Beijing data center is responsible for formulating the operation mission plan of the CBERS-04 satellite in the ASEAN region, and collecting the satellite data received by the Singapore receiving station. It will be distributed to ASEAN countries to realize the sharing and application of CBERS-04 satellite data to ASEAN countries.

　　The Singapore receiving station is built in the Remote Sensing Satellite Data Processing Center affiliated to the National University of Singapore. Based on its existing receiving system, it will be transformed so that it can receive CBERS-04 satellite data, and a small CBERS-04 satellite ground processing system will be built. , to realize the processing and application of satellite data in Singapore, and add a data transmission system to realize the timely return of received data to the Beijing data center.

　　The data sharing service includes the expansion of the ASEAN data distribution and sharing system on the basis of the Beijing data center, and mainly provides the demonstration application training of CBERS-04 satellite data and related data for ASEAN countries. According to the remote sensing application needs of ASEAN countries, the CBERS-04 satellite data application terminal is developed in a targeted manner, so that ASEAN countries can quickly query, browse, download and apply satellite data.
